A casualty was rushed to hospital following a medical emergency at Charter Primary School in Chippenham this morning.
Air ambulance lands at Bolts Croft
Paramedics were called to the school in Wood Lane just before 9am on Wednesday. The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity helicopter landed nearby at Bolts Croft around 10.20am to assist local crews.
Multiple crews at the scene
South Western Ambulance Service confirmed two double-crewed ambulances and the air ambulance attended the incident. One patient was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment.
School remains open, no official comment
It is unclear if the patient was a child or adult, but the school day carried on with little disruption. Charter Primary School has not issued a statement regarding the incident.
