BUSTOP ATTACK Elderly Victims Attacked Near Eastbourne Bus Stop

Sussex Police are hunting a thug who assaulted two elderly people in Eastbourne’s Old Town.

The shocking attacks occurred at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, 21 October, just opposite Waitrose on High Street, near the bus stop.

80-Year-Old Woman Pushed to Ground

An 80-year-old woman was shoved to the pavement and left with multiple injuries that needed hospital treatment.

At the same time, a 90-year-old man was also attacked nearby.

Police Describe Suspect and Appeal for Information

Authorities describe the suspect as a white man in his 40s, wearing a black sweatshirt and a blue coat.

Police are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the assaults to get in touch immediately. Contact them online or call 101, quoting serial 640 of 21/10.

Officers are checking CCTV footage and conducting street enquiries to track down the attacker.
