Charges after man gave police the slip

A man who was arrested yesterday on suspicion of escaping lawful custody in Southampton has since been charged. Peter Fox, 32, of Cornel Road, Southampton, was charged with the offence of lawful custody, and has been remanded to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (4 July).
