A34 closed in both directions after HGV crossover

The A34 is currently closed southbound between the A339 and A4 near Newbury. This closure is due to a serious road traffic collision involving a HGV that has crossed over to the opposite carriageway. Highways England has resources deployed working hard to restore normal conditions as soon as possible. For traffic approaching the closure locally, you are advised to expect disruption with extra journey time and may potentially have to re-route your journey.
