Arrest Made After Triple Stabbing in Station Parade, NW2 — Two Victims Critical
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a triple stabbing in Station Parade, Cricklewood (NW2) on the evening of Wednesday, 25 June.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 9:00pm, where they discovered two men aged 20 and 21 suffering from serious stab wounds. Both remain in critical condition in hospital.
A 20-year-old woman, who reported breathing difficulties at the scene, declined medical treatment.
Man Arrested, Also Injured
Police arrested a 20-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He was also treated for non-life-threatening stab injuries and remains in police custody.
No Ongoing Chemical Threat
Initial concerns about the presence of a chemical substance prompted the deployment of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) trained units. However, these units have since been stood down, and authorities have confirmed it is not being treated as a chemical incident.
Incident Near Mosque Not Believed to Be Linked
The attack occurred outside the Central Masjid of Brent, a prominent mosque in the area. However, the Metropolitan Police have stated there is no indication of any connection to the venue or its congregation.
Police Statement:
“Two men, aged 20 and 21, were taken to hospital in a critical condition. A separate 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody. There is no ongoing risk to the wider public.”
