Burglar who carried Knife Remanded into Custody after Five Breaking

An 18-year-old man has appeared in court having been charged by officers investigating ten burglaries in Andover. Tarik Oliveira, of Portland Street, London, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, January 4). He has been charged with five counts of burglary dwelling and one count of attempted burglary dwelling. Oliveira has also been charged with four counts of aggravated burglary. These charges relate to a knife being carried at four domestic burglaries. All charges relate to domestic burglaries that took place in Andover in September 2016. Oliveira was remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on January 25.
