In a shocking turn of events, all flights at London Luton Airport have been temporarily suspended following a massive vehicle fire that broke out in one of its car parks. The incident, which occurred at Terminal Car Park 2, has prompted an immediate response from emergency services, resulting in restricted access to the airport.

Videos circulating online depict the alarming sight of towering flames and thick smoke emanating from the top floor of the multi-storey building. The East of England Ambulance Service swiftly arrived at the scene, although fortunately, no casualties have been reported thus far.

The Bedfordshire fire service has been diligently working to combat the blaze, which has unfortunately impacted approximately 80% of the car park’s third floor. Describing the incident as a vehicle fire, the fire service has deployed a total of 10 fire engines since receiving a distress call at 20:47 BST.
