Freddy Brazier Expecting First Child as Pregnancy Brings Him Closer to Dad Jeff
Freddy Brazier, son of television presenter Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody, is set to become a father for the first time, according to reports.
Relationship ‘Improved’ After Turbulent Period
The 20-year-old’s unexpected pregnancy news has reportedly helped repair his relationship with Jeff, following a period of strain.
A family friend told The Mail on Sunday:
“It has blindsided him and has been one of the things that has really brought him and his dad back together, but it’s so devastating that Jade isn’t here to see it.
Jeff was one of the first people he decided to confide in to ask for advice, and he stepped up straight away and wanted to help in any way he could.”
Jeff, 45, is said to have been “extremely supportive”, alongside friends and extended family, as Freddy prepares for fatherhood.
Co-Parenting Plans
Freddy and his former partner, with whom he had a brief relationship ending in early 2025, are understood to have agreed to co-parent their baby.
Family Background
Freddy was just four years old when his mother, Big Brother star Jade Goody, died of cervical cancer in 2009.
He and Jeff appeared together earlier this year on the BBC travel series Race Across the World, though their relationship has been described as turbulent in recent months.
Freddy has also spoken openly on his new podcast A Load of Old Cobblers about his struggles with mental health, including time in rehab and being sectioned.
His older brother Bobby Brazier, 21, recently left his acting career to move to India and pursue the Hare Krishna faith.
