Large fire breaks out at Winchester prison

Fire crews have been called to HMP Winchester this evening following reports of a large fire. 4 pumps are currently at the site with more on the way. An update from Hampshire  Fire and rescue service : Two fires in cells at Winchester Prison. Put out by prison staff before fire officers arrived. Fire crews have now left the prison.
