Longfield Crash: Biker Seriously Injured in Collision with Car on Main Road
A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a collision with a car on Main Road (B260) in Longfield, Kent, early this morning.
Emergency services were called at approximately 7:15am to reports of a road traffic collision near the junction with Station Road, between Whitehill Road and the Hartley Road roundabout.
Kent Police officers and South East Coast Ambulance crews remain at the scene. The road has been fully closed in both directions while a forensic collision investigation is underway.

Kent Highways has confirmed the B260 Main Road is closed between Whitehill Road and Hartley Road. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes during the ongoing emergency response.
Eyewitness Reports
According to eyewitnesses, the crash involved a car and a motorcycle, with the rider suffering serious injuries. The condition of the car driver has not yet been confirmed.
Traffic is being diverted, and local residents have been urged to delay travel plans or use A226 or A20 as diversions where possible.
