Man Charged After Brutal Assault in Ashford ? UKNIP

Kent Police have charged a man following a serious assault in Ashford last Friday.

Victim Hospitalised with Facial Injuries

Officers were called to Rayworth Court at 6.45pm on 10 October 2025 after reports of a violent attack. Emergency crews found a 19-year-old man with significant facial injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

Suspect Nabbed and Charged with Knife Crime

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene. James Wood of Adams Drive, Willesborough, has been charged with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife. He was remanded in custody.

Next Court Appearance Set

Wood appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 October. He is due to face Canterbury Crown Court next.
