ARRESTS MADE Man in His 60s Assaulted on Caversham Road – Two Arrested

Thames Valley Police are hunting for answers after a brutal assault in Reading this afternoon.

A man in his sixties was attacked near Bowl Central on Caversham Road at around 2.40pm. He was rushed to hospital and remains there in a serious condition.

Two Arrested Over Brutal GBH Attack

Officers have arrested a 35-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, both Reading locals, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. They are currently in custody.

No Further Threat to Public

Police say they are not looking for anyone else connected to the case and there is no wider threat to the community.
