Man Injured in Glass Bottle Assault on Lea Bridge Road

 

Police are appealing for information after a man in his 30s was injured during an assault involving a glass bottle in East London.

Officers were called at 3.32pm on Monday, 23 June, to Lea Bridge Road, at the junction with Hitcham Road (E10), following reports of an altercation.

Upon arrival, emergency services found a man in his 30s suffering from injuries caused by a glass bottle. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

No Arrests Made

As of Tuesday morning, no arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing.

A police spokesperson said:

“We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this assault. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is urged to contact police.”
