FATAL STABBING Murder Charge After Stabbing in Norwich

A man has been charged with murder following a deadly stabbing in Norwich yesterday.

Fatal Stab to the Chest

Police arrested 27-year-old Benjamin Katabana, a Congolese national from Somerleyton Street, after a man in his 30s was found fatally stabbed at a property on Somerleyton Street on Saturday morning.

A Home Office post-mortem confirmed the victim died from a stab wound to the chest.

Suspect in Custody

Benjamin Katabana was charged with murder on Sunday evening and has been remanded in custody.

He is set to appear before Norwich Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 24 November 2025).
