Nicola Sturgeon’s Husband, Peter Murrell, Has Been Arrested By Police Scotland In Connection With An Ongoing Investigation Into The Funding And Finances Of The Scottish National Party

Several properties were raided on Wednesday morning, and Murrell is being questioned by detectives.

The investigation is active under the Contempt of Court Act 1981, and caution is advised when discussing it on social media.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “No further comment can be made at this time as the investigation continues”.
