Oxford Circus Stabbing: Two Men in Hospital as Police Hunt Suspect
Two men have been taken to hospital after separate stabbings at Oxford Circus Underground Station, prompting a major police investigation.
Two Stabbings Hours Apart
The first victim, a 23-year-old man, was found with stab injuries shortly after 3.40am on Saturday, 30 August. He was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital.
A second victim, aged 41, was discovered with stab wounds at the station around 1.30am on Sunday, 31 August, and was also taken to hospital.
Both victims remain in hospital; their conditions have not been described as life-threatening.

The British Transport Police (BTP) has released a photograph of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incidents.
Police Statement
Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Davies said:
“There is absolutely no place for violence on the rail network, and detectives are working at pace to investigate these two connected incidents. Passengers will see an increased police presence at the station while officers carry out their enquiries.
We are urging anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen these incidents take place or events leading up to them, to get in touch and assist us with our enquiries. Any piece of information might be vital for our investigation.”
