A man charged with harassment and stalking in the vicinity of Taylor Swift’s New York City townhouse has been arrested again just hours after his court appearance. David Crowe, 33, from Seattle, Washington, was initially taken into custody on Monday night and charged with two counts of harassment and stalking.

According to reports, Crowe had been seen around Taylor Swift’s property “approximately 30 times” in the last two months. The complaint indicated that a security worker had observed Crowe in the area multiple times since November 25, and he had been warned not to approach the building on ten occasions.

Crowe appeared before the New York Country Criminal Court on Wednesday, where a judge granted supervised release and issued an order of protection. However, shortly after this court appearance, he was rearrested and charged with four counts of criminal contempt.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) responded to an emergency call regarding a “disorderly male” near Taylor Swift’s home. Crowe left the location upon their arrival and was taken into custody without further incident.

It remains unclear whether Taylor Swift was in the property during the incidents involving Crowe. The 33-year-old is scheduled to appear in court on March 3 for the stalking and harassment charges, while the court date for the contempt charges is yet to be decided.

Taylor Swift, with a devoted fan base, has been a target of stalkers and break-ins across her properties in various locations, including New York, California, and Rhode Island. Incidents in the past have prompted increased security measures around the pop star’s residences.
