The trial of two men charged with attempted murder has been set for September

The trial of two men charged with attempted murder has been set for 14 September, following a preliminary hearing at the Old Bailey today, Wednesday 8 April.

Brusthom Ziamani, 24, and Baz Macaulay Hockton, 26, were charged on Tuesday, 3 March with attempted murder.

Ziamani was also charged with ABH and common assault.

Both are remanded ahead of their trial at the Old Bailey.

On 2 March, two men were arrested in connection with an attack on a prison officer at HMP Whitemoor on 9 January. They were subsequently charged as above.<
