The warrant was executed on Thursday (10/8) by the Burglary and Youth and Gang Violence Unit with support from officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team at an address in Stockley.

A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.

Following further enquiries as a result of the warrant, a second man aged in his 20s and linked to the address was arrested in the Westbury area on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A and B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a bladed article and dangerous driving.

Both remain in custody for further questioning.

As part of the operation, a large quantity of designer clothing was seized and enquiries will continue.

Sgt Mike Tripp said: “With the expertise and assistance of the Wiltshire Burglary YGV team we will continue to target and disrupt individuals who come to our attention in the local area looking to promote and progress their criminal activity.

“We’d urge the local community to continue to assist us by reporting any concerns they may have that people living in their neighbourhood may be involved in criminal activity and reporting it to us immediately.”
