Two teenage boys have been charged in connection with an incident that occurred in Devizes on the morning of Wednesday, January 10.

A 16-year-old boy, whose identity cannot be disclosed due to legal reasons, has been charged with multiple offences, including dwelling burglary, aggravated taking without consent, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and driving without a license.

Another 16-year-old boy, also protected by legal anonymity, has been charged with dwelling burglary.

Both teenagers appeared in court on January 11, where they were remanded into custody. Their next court appearance is scheduled for January 16.

The charges stem from an incident that unfolded around 3:20 a.m. on Wednesday. Police received reports of a vehicle being stolen and driven recklessly in the vicinity of Devizes.

A third teenager who was apprehended in connection with the same incident has been released under investigation as inquiries continue.

Wiltshire Police are actively pursuing this case to ensure that justice is served and the community’s safety is maintained. Further updates may follow as the investigation progresses.
