Fire crew called to blocked Chimney sparking fire

The Isle of Wight Freshwater Fire Crew were mobilised to a chimney fire in Freshwater this evening, twigs and other debris had settled in the chimney and ignited when the fire was used. Firefighters removed the debris and extinguished the embers and made the area safe and also fitted new smoke alarms in the property.
