London’s Heathrow Airport witnessed a heartbreaking incident on New Year’s Eve when a British Airways flight attendant collapsed in front of passengers just moments before the plane was set to take off. The 52-year-old crew member’s sudden and tragic death left both passengers and fellow crew members in shock.
The flight, destined for Hong Kong, had already secured its doors, and passengers were seated and prepared for departure when the unexpected incident occurred, as reported by The Sun.
In response to the emergency, the captain promptly appealed to any passengers with medical expertise to come forward and assist the ailing crew member.
