Police have charged a man with  one count  of assault with intent to commit robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and theft from a person.

Lee Guyett, aged 37 of Rectory Close, Bracknell was charged on Monday (12/10).

The charges relate to an incident on Saturday (10/10) at around 4am at the Coppid Beach Hotel in Bracknell in which a man in his thirties was assaulted a robbed.

Guyett has been remanded in custody and will appear at Reading Crown Court on 16 November 2020.
