A 51-year-old man is dead after a savage daylight punch in Snodland. Police were called to Edwards Close at around 3pm on 1 July 2025 following reports of a street fight. Victim Daniel Beard was knocked unconscious and rushed by air ambulance to a London hospital.
Suspect Arrested, Now Facing Murder Charge
Ryan Greaves, 31, of Thomson Close, Snodland, was arrested the day after the assault. Initially charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, Greaves was rearrested and charged with murder after Beard tragically died on 6 October.
Greaves Set for Court Appearance
Greaves remains in custody and is due before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 8 October. The community awaits justice following this grim street attack.
