Police investigate multiple stabbing attacks in East London

MET Officers are currently on scene dealing with a multiple person stabbing in Thornbury Way, Walthamstow, E17.

Four teenagers have been stabbed and seven people have been detained in connection with the incident this evening

All victims are receiving treatment in hospital and 3 are  in a non life threatening condition we await condition of forth.

A Police spokesperson has said “This is an isolated incident and we don’t believe there is a risk to members of the public. Road closures are currently in place in and around Thornbury Way, E17.

We urge any witnesses to contact 101 with information quoting reference CAD 7922/11MAR20″

Police have also been given additional search powers under Section 60 of CJPOA for Walthamstow, Leyton and Leytonstone area
