At 5.31pm on Sunday, July 9, the police responded to reports of a stabbing in West Ham Park, Forest Gate. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 16-year-old male victim who had sustained a stab wound. Immediate emergency first aid was provided by the officers while awaiting the arrival of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance.

The injured teenager was subsequently transported to an East London hospital, where he currently remains in a life-threatening condition. His next of kin have been notified and are aware of the situation.

Following the incident, two males were swiftly apprehended in the vicinity by the police. They have been arrested and are currently in police custody. The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, and authorities are working diligently to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A Spokesman for the Met Police said: At 17:31hrs on Sunday, 9 July police were called to West Ham Park, Forest Gate following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended and found a 16-year-old male with a stab wound. They provided emergency first aid prior to the arrival of London Ambulance Service paramedics and the London Air Ambulance.

The male has been taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition. His next of kin are aware.

Two males have been arrested nearby and remain in custody.
