Two men behind a Staffordshire drug ring dealing Class A substances have been sent down. Joshua Johnson and Owen Hargreaves, both 22 and from Stoke-on-Trent, were busted in a police swoop in June.
£11,000 Cash and Drug Phone Seized
Police raided their homes after receiving intelligence on local drug dealing. Officers found over £11,000 in cash and a drug-line phone at Johnson’s place. The phone was used to blast bulk messages advertising drugs for sale across Staffordshire.
Caught Red-Handed Throwing Drugs
During the raid, Hargreaves was spotted chucking a sock out of a window. It contained drugs. The evidence piled up fast.
Sentences Handed Down
- Joshua Johnson pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine and was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison.
- Owen Hargreaves admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of heroin. He got a two-year suspended sentence.
